16.6m Foil assisted Powercat - in NZ Survey

Designed by multi hull expert Nic De Waal and built in NZ by the highly respected Q-West Boat yard, this 16.6 x 6.4m foil-assisted power catamaran has a cruising speed of over 30 knots, and is capable of 40 knots +.

Built in 2005 to NZ Survey she was initially designed for survey work with the capability of accommodating 6 crew in comfort for longer trips. More recently she has been used for both private and high end charter fishing in the Hauraki Gulf and as far afield as the Three Kings.

Currently in Marine NZ survey and operated under a Marine Transport Operating Plan, which allows up to 49 passengers in inshore limits and 6 for North Island Coastal limits.
This catamaran was the first vessel to utilise Teknicraft's innovative adjustable foil system which optimises fuel efficiency over a broad speed range, and as such she is very efficient and sea worthy. Featuring a comfortable and spacious interior with twin cabin layout and multiple seating areas, huge U shaped dinette etc, this boat is suitable for multiple uses. You could consider her for fishing and entertainment charters, commercial work, high speed transfer vessel as well as private use. She is a true multi purpose vessel which will take you anywhere at speed, in comfort and safety.

Well maintained by an experienced owner, she is now on the market for the first time.
