Hatteras style 50 ft Motor Yacht

This large volume, semi displacement motor yacht was strongly constructed from 3 skin Kauri by John Gladden (NZ) in 1985, to a design from iconic USA naval architect Jack Hargrave, renowned for many of the Hatteras motor yachts.

Well laid out with a spacious mid saloon and large fly bridge, she has plenty of space for family and friends to spread out, and is an ideal cruiser in which to explore to explore the Hauraki Gulf and further afield, or as a live aboard cruiser. Her three cabin layout includes a large owners cabin aft complete with ensuite, and two guest cabins forward. The two spacious forward cabins share a second bathroom. The master cabin aft has seperate access to the cockpit, a full walk around bed and plenty of storage. The forward portside cabin has a double bed with single above, and the forward starboard cabin has two adult size singles.

The galley is large and features a full sized oven with microwave-convection oven and good refrigeration and a large pull out pantry. The interior is finished in rich Mahogony timbers throughout and being a big bodied hull has good headroom throughout. The toilet systems have been upgraded to vacuum flush Sealand toilets and the bathrooms are generous too.

The enclosed flybridge is a bonus in our wet season and offers another lounging area and extra berths. Natural ventilation is taken care of by sliding windows and overhead hatches. The covered aft deck has additional seating and has recently been fitted with clears and covers providing all weather usage. There is also an additional set of throttles for docking.

An array of electronics and full instrumentation on the bridge coupled with great visibility in the raised helm position make this a good command station in all weather.
A new Furuno open scanner radar has been fitted for precise radar images.

There are also plenty of rod holders across the aft deck head above the cockpit - a Kiwi necessity.

Well maintained by her current owners and including items such as new batteries, new freezer, dish washer etc, she is ready for new owners to enjoy.
