52 ft Offshore Passage maker

This purpose built 16m offshore cruiser was designed by Alan Walker of Coast Design and built by Bill Herriman, an experienced NZ boat builder. She was launched in December 2000 and designed to be handled by a couple, with the extra space to accommodate family and friends. She has accommodation for 9, with plenty of space to relax and entertain. The steel hull is in excellent condition having been fully repainted approximately three years ago. A comprehensive equipment specification list including two new Seakeeper M9000 gyro stabilisers - ideal for comfortable cruising use.

She has an impressive cruising history with the highlight being a three year cruise from NZ to Japan and Alaska. This cruise is the subject of a book called “Into the Midnight Sun”, by Barbara Thomas, and may be the inspiration you are looking for to cast off the lines and go cruising.

Recent additions to her comprehensive equipment list including two new Seakeeper gyro stabilisers, have her ready to head offshore again, so whether it is the Pacific Islands this winter, or even further afield, this boat must be on your short list to inspect.

Auckland marina berth available with purchase if required.
